In February 1995, Program staff released the National Pesticide Use Database, containing over 15,000 individual records that quantify the use of specific active ingredients by crop and state. The NCFAP database contains use estimates for 200 active ingredients used on 87 crops in the 48 contiguous states for a typical crop year in the 1991-1993 time period. The NCFAP database remains a unique source of comprehensive, publicly available pesticide-use data for the United States.
NCFAP staff assembled an update of the national pesticide use database during Fiscal Year 1998. Program staff organized the pesticide use data from available published reports and from a survey of Extension Service specialists. The revised national database report was provided to us in December 2000.
You must select a year (1992 or 1997)and a pesticide type.
